I am a psychotherapist and this makes me think of something I often tell my clients. It's a saying I like a LOT. I'm not sure the source...but it is: "Go as far as you can see down the road and from there, you can see farther down the road." Good, simple wisdom. Thanks.

Dear Rick,
Wow, perfect timing (as usual) for my reading your latest post on "What is in Front of Me now?". I was just being with my complacency and boredom, complaining about the economy, the politicians, my life, you name it. I watched it for awhile until I noticed my hunger that always underlies my complaining. What I am reminded of is that I have no choice until I recognize what is in front of me now. Once I see the complaining next to my hunger, I have a choice about where I want to be NOW. Today my choice was to take action and follow my hunger to find what feeds that (which led me to your blog, among other inspiring places). So in this moment, I'm moving from one "what's in front of me now" to the next and the worry is not there. For that I am wildly grateful (as worry has been a constant companion lately!) ;-)
Thanks, Rick for your thoughts and reminders!! Love, Lynn

Rick: Just took a moment to catch up on some of your posts. This one resonated with me (not that all of the others didn't in some way :-) as I am finding this to be so true in my life. Take care of what or who you are with at that moment and move on...still being aligned with one's authentic self AND working on one's purpose and/or vision in life. Good stuff...and thanks for reminding me of this.

Much respect,
David

And I realse it is so important to reflect and think about my own bigger game. I look forward with enthusiasm the CTI Leadership course AND meeting you in Singapore.
Hi Rick!

What you point us to here is very "up" for me, having just come off of a full week of 14+ hour days that left me FLYING instead of exhausted! AND, what I notice on this side of it is that having recently experienced that joy/fun/play/magic place, I also have a heightened awareness in the rest of my life where those qualities are not present, at least not to the same degree. So it's a great way to notice where my Bigger Game potential is present, and it's also a way to be aware of parts of my life that need some juice!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts here, Rick. They're always helpful!

Much love,
Laura

Rick, I love that you point to this.

...I have been amazed at how very different it feels in "letting the game find you" verus "looking for the right game". I never used to "sit still" very easily....so over the past 2 years, releasing the urge to find the "right game" has been a Bold Action in itself. (lol) And I love it here. I know intuitively that I'll play additional bigger games in my lifetime, and I now trust that they'll emerge, perfectly timed, in the right manner and with the right details....just when they are supposed to. No Worries. Lots of fun.

I look forward to learning more of the Bigger Game playing skills....which I am confident will be of great value.......for when my next game finds me.

As always, thanks for being you and for your work which inspires others,

Rick, for me this was Happy New Spring, new life, and fresh start living! You know that Chinese proverb- when the student is ready the teacher will appear and this student is ready to take in your message about the "who". Your message speaks to me so clearly- it is from you and two other people whom have also touched my life have responded to you here! The "who" for me is the "who" is front of me AND the "who" that comes to mind frequently, but I don't know why. That reminds me of the lesson you taught me... get clear about the "what" and the "how" will happen. A new lesson here- when you are clear about the "what" AND the "who" once again the universe provides just what you need to continue along your journey of purpose.

My journey is much richer and meaningful because of you!

With much love, joy & gratitude,
Jeanie

No matter where you are in the world, we are all connected both metaphorically and litterally through technology. Those buzz words of "reach out," "connect," and "network" seem to date themselves as I now lump them together with more organic terms like RELATIONSHIPS and COMMUNITY. Thanks Rick for the reminder to "WHO" instead of "WHAT!"
